“Mascot Down” to appear in Crux Magazine

“Mascot Down,” the third excerpt from Atticus Benight’s unpublished memoirs, What the Fuzz? My Life in the Minors, will be forthcoming in Crux Magazine this spring.

This piece of creative non-fiction is a reflection of the time Atticus was stabbed in character during a promotional appearance at a church picnic.

Two Mascot memories published

Two selections from Atticus Benight’s unpublished memoirs, What the Fuzz? My Life in the Minors, were recently published by two online literary magazines.

The independent publication, bioStories, has accepted “Furry Felonies” for its January issue.

Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, a publication affiliated with the University of Arkansas at Monticello, has also accepted “Knockout” for its February issue.
